WoW scam against those looking for Online Girlfriends
I found reference to this scam on the http://www.mmowned.com/ discussion boards and while it takes a bit of time to get results from, it’s a pretty decent scam against you lonely folk who are looking for an Online Girlfriend:

anyways you need a female character,and a good faking abilitys :P this scam is a girlfriend scam,it might sound gayish but still i know a guy that got 1300 gold from it,this is ALMOST 100% unbanable
you’ll need a pic of some hot girl cause the scammed guy will want a pic of you :P
if he asks your msn,just make a new one with a girl name
you’ll need to be very careful about what you say,you dont want him to know you’re a guy :P
after a while of normal friendship,you’ll start to do your own business :P and then, he’ll probly give you some money

and then you gotta just leave him,which is easy,just think of a way
so here’s the scam,as i said this might sound gayish but it’s very useful and very safe,but yet again not the fastest one,,,,oh btw,you got to ask from the guy money for some reason lol i asked 100 for Krol blade that doesnt exist..i could get the full 500 :P but i felt sorry on him,it was for his epic mount
No offense to the guys that fall for this, but ouch… that’s gotta hurt! They probably aren’t very successful in RL either and now the game they’ve come to love is crushing them? Yikes!
Although I know someone that lost their husband to an online relationship, turned out to be your typical ‘business trip turned into a pleasure trip’ scenario….
In game, I assume all female characters are male until proven otherwise! ;-) One guy in our guild has the huskiest voices on Vent, but plays a female mage… I have a friend who most of the time plays female characters. His reasoning? He’d rather stare at her backside than some male orcs! ;-)
Don’t think any of them would go as far as the scam above… that’s just wrong and sad for the people who fall for it…. even if the scenarios were true, would you give the money if it were a guy? Someone you’ve never met out of game?…… my point exactly.
